ShaBrucha Needle Art was developed through my love for needlework. I am also an artist. I lack about 30 credit hours for a BFA in painting, but have a BA in Art History and an MPA with emphasis in Museum Administration.
Currently, I am working on several embroidery projects and crocheting a wheat pattern tablecloth. Many of the crochet patterns are those either I or my mother have made. My mother and I collected Workbasket for many years and I have those plus other patterns I have collected over the years.
Old patterns from Workbaskets from the 40s, 50s and 60s are discolored due to age and paper quality. These were scanned and reworked in Photoshop to make them easier to read. I cannot be responsible for errors in original pattern scans since they are not my errors. It is possible for errors to creep in when patterns are retyped but every effort is made to be sure this does not happen when this is done.
You will need to print patterns on your personal computer/printer.
I hope that you will enjoy a look into the past and creating work which will be enjoyed for years to come.
